Job Purpose

Your enthusiasm and passion for the outdoors will be driven by a commitment to co-ordinating outstanding services whilst using resources as efficiently and effectively as possible in the operation of our business. Contributing to the provision and design of an innovative and modern estates and equipment maintenance programme, you will enhance opportunities for our venues to flourish by maximising capacity and becoming thriving, sustainable and green facilities. Your Key Duties include, but not limited to: 1. Co-ordinate and monitor the day to day implementation and delivery of planned ground maintenance, work programmes and projects for sites including: • Annanhill Golf Course • Ayrshire Athletics Arena • Dean Castle Country Park (DCCP) • River Ayr Way (RAW) 2. You will have responsibility for the day to day operation and maintenance of plant, fleet and machinery to ensure suitability for tasks 3. Undertake general maintenance and in doing so drive and operate a range of specialist vehicles, plant and machinery in accordance with Health and Safety. 4. In addition to all Health & Safety processes outlined within the Job Description, you will have key responsibility for risk assessments, staff training, health surveillance and safe working practices 5. Co-ordinate rotas, work patterns and staff cover to ensure resources are in place for service delivery 6. Provide communications for social media messaging and also contribute ideas and content for website and newsletters 7. Ensure all supplies and materials are procured timeously and with best value in mind to deliver on all programmes and projects 8. Maintain successful and productive partnerships that will have a positive impact on the service and the community particularly with local providers including East Ayrshire Council Please see the attached Job Specification which outlines all responsibilities and duties for this post. Rate of Pay

Rate of Pay: £13.45 - £14.36 per hour Hours of work will be 35 hrs per week on a 9 week rota, to be worked as per the attached work pattern. A 10% shift allowance is applicable to this post.
