Mechanical Technical Engineer

Job Purpose

To undertake servicing, maintenance and repair of both fossil fuel and zero emission cars, vans, buses and large goods vehicles (LGVs) as well as plant and other ancillary equipment for example refuse collection and winter maintenance equipment as required across a wide range of planned, re-active and emergency requirements to defined timescales and deadlines. To assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council’s key objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.  

 

 

Requirements

Additional Information

This is a permanent full time 37 hour per week post based at the Transport Services Unit, Main Road, Crookedholm, working dayshift and backshift.

Shifts:

Week 1 Monday - Thursday 7.00am - 4.45pm

Week 2 Tuesday - Thursday 12.15pm - 11.00pm & Friday 7.00am - 4.45pm

Annual Salary £33,728 - £36,652+ 10% shift allowance and tool allowance
