Job Description
To undertake training as an Apprentice Plumber and to assist in all plumbing repairs and all refurbishment work to Council properties; to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council’s key objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.

With regards to requests for references and in line with this guidance, during your application process you should provide details of a minimum of two appropriate and relevant references, one of which should be from the current or most recent employer. It is also a requirement that the reference from the current or most recent employer is from an appropriately senior manager and it is not a reference from a former peer operating at the same level.
Responsibilities
To apply and be considered for this post you must be a resident of East Ayrshire and be aged between 16 and 24 years old. If you are care experienced or have a disability, you can apply up until the age of 29.
This is a full time temporary post based at Burnside Street, Kilmarnock.
This post is temporary for 4 years to allow the successful candidate to complete their apprenticeship. Start date is August 2024.
The salary for this post is £10.90 per hour.
