Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Neighbourhood Housing Manager to lead a dynamic and fast paced team in delivering high quality housing services within Cumnock and Doon Valley

You will contribute to the effective provision, delivery and management of the monitoring and implementation of the statutory regulations and legislation related to Housing (Scotland) Act 2001, Anti-Social Behaviour Act etc. 2004 in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council’s key objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.

Requirements

The duties of this post requires access to the public sector network and therefore the successful applicant must complete a basic Disclosure Scotland application.  A formal offer of employment with East Ayrshire Council will only be made once satisfactory clearance has been received.  Any information that is disclosed on a basic disclosure will require to be discussed before a formal offer of employment is made.

Responsibilities

This is a full time permanent post. The admin base for the post is Rothesay House, Cumnock.

The hours of work are 35 per week.

The workstyle for this post is ‘Flexible’ - 50-79% of time is office based.  Able to work at different/ multiple work    locations.  Occasionally works at home, or another location 1-2 days per week, or directly home to external appointments.

The salary is £43,553 - £47,629 per annum
