Job Purpose

Assist the Project Development Manager in the development of Ayrshire Growth Deal (AGD) proposals for East Ayrshire, principally for the development of the Strategic, Outline and Final Business Cases for the Community Renewable Energy Project (CoRE) project; to ensure the delivery of projected outcomes for all AGD business cases but in particular the CoREproject; to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of key Council objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value as they relate to the AGD.

This is a temporary full time post until 31 March 2025. The admin base for this post is The Opera House, 8 John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock.

Normal office hours are 9am - 5pm Monday - Thursday & 9am - 4pm Friday.

Annual Salary £40,404 - £42,843


The workstyle for this post is ‘Mobile’ - 20-49% of time is office based. Able to work at home, or another location, or travel directly from home to other locations and client visits out in the field.
