Senior Accountant

Job Purpose

Contribute to the management and co-ordination of activities that supports a consistent approach to the provision, delivery and development of services undertaken by Corporate Accounting. This will to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council’s key objectives; specifically in relation to the Finance and ICT Service Plan, Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.

Additional Information

This is a permanent full time post. The admin base for this post is Council Headquarters, London Road, Kilmarnock.

Normal office hours are Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm & Friday 9am - 4pm

Annual Salary £43,553 - £47,629

The workstyle for this post is ‘Mobile’ - 20-49% of time is office based. Able to work at home, or another location, or travel directly from home to other locations and client visits out in the field.
