Job Purpose

Contribute to the effective provision, delivery and management of the monitoring and implementation of the statutory regulations and legislation related to flood matters, flood inspections, assessments and maintenance projects and flood mitigation measures in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council’s key objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.

Additional Information

This is a permanent full time position, 35 hours per week. The admin base for this post is County Buildings, Ayr, although due to the nature of this post you will be required to work throughout Ayrshire. Normal office hours are as follows;

Monday - Thursday 9.00 am - 5.00 pm
Friday 9.00 am - 4.00 pm

Annual Salary £39,094 - £42,588

The workstyle for this post is ‘Mobile’ - 20-49% of time is office based. Able to work at home, or another location, or travel directly from home to other locations and client visits out in the field.
