Job Details

To ensure effective and best in class internal and external communication throughout the service. To develop systems and processes that maintain close contact with users and user groups. To conduct a range of customer and colleague surveys that keep the service informed about customer needs and levels of satisfaction. To market and promote the service's activities across all sites. Through advertising and promotions to assist in the identification and development of new income streams. Ensure the Senior Leadership Team has up to date marketing and membership based information on competitor leisure industry organisations in both the private and public sector. Keep up to-date appropriate social media channels by posting high quality and engaging content for both existing and potential customers.

Job Requirements

Relevant Qualifications
IT literate in a range of applications including Microsoft packages as well as photography and videography.

Current valid driving licence. 

Sound marketing knowledge and experience to be able to act as a source of advice and support to the Senior Leadership Team, and other colleagues in the drafting and sharing of communications as required.

Experience of producing and implementing marketing and communications strategies and plans.

Effective, persuasive and clear communication, interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to have the confidence to provide communication advice to others.

A strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple projects, teams and stakeholders, often with competing priorities and deadlines to achieve performance targets.

Strong planning and organisational skills with an attention to detail.

Excellent business acumen and the ability to quickly evaluate reputational opportunities and risks.

Excellent customer focus and care skills.

Administrative skills including the production of high quality creative publicity material in a number of formats translating information in ways that members, customers and colleagues understand and engage with.

Experience of working with the media to support promotional activities and secure positive exposure.
