Law Primary School is situated in the beautiful coastal town of North Berwick.  It is the town's only primary school and  pupils benefit from excellent community links and extra-curricular opportunities.  Recent extensive building work has afforded the school excellent sports facilities and libraries as well as 18 new classrooms which house the P4-7 classes.   The school grounds offer a variety of environments which encourage and foster learning outdoors. The current school roll from Nursery to Primary 7 is 750 pupils and each year stage has three or four classes, which promotes collegiate planning.

The school has a non-teaching head teacher, three depute head teachers, 2 principal teachers and 26 classes.  We have a support for learning team including teachers, additional support needs auxiliaries and classroom assistants.  Specialist teachers offer children expert teaching in music, art and PE.  The school is situated next to North Berwick High School, with whom we have very good links, and a new purpose built Nursery will shortly be completed.

This is an exciting time to join our team as we embed our values of Kindness, Respect and Determination, and our committed staff look forward to welcoming teachers to the team.

We are looking to recruit somebody with experience as class teacher in Primary 7.  Interviews for the position will be held on Thursday 22nd June 2023.
