Home Working Consideration

Job Details

The Jobholder is responsible for ensuring that complex financial information is accurately recorded, according to the most efficient processes designed to suit the systems and technology used across East Lothian Council.

Assist in the operation, maintenance and continued development of the main Finance Systems across the Council.

Lead the operation, maintenance and continued development of the main Procurement system (Pecos) across the council.

Provide information, advice, guidance and training to staff at all levels in respect of the main Finance/Procurement system, including provision of helpdesk function.

Lead and/or support on all Finance/Procurement system developments/projects including those in other areas of the council that impact on the Finance/Procurement system.

Job Requirements

Relevant Qualifications
The Jobholder must be educated to HNC/SVQ3 level in a relevant subject such as Accounting, Information Management or Mathematics.
