This post will require the post holder to work closely with the Employability Development Officers, developing partnerships with employers, and aligned organisations to deliver meaningful programmes. This role works closely with the East Lothian Works teams, East Lothian Secondary Schools, partners such as Edinburgh College, SDS and many third and voluntary sector partners.

The individual will be solution focussed, proactive, and have a passion for ensuring young people have quality experiences available to them. They will have the ability to see and act on opportunities, be an able communicator and facilitator and be organised. The successful candidate will work at pace and manage a variety of competing priorities.

Home Working Consideration

Job Requirements

Relevant Qualifications
Educated to Degree level or equivalent in Business, Education, Community Learning, Employability and/or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through previous experience.
Evidence of engagement in continued professional development and lifelong learning.

Driving Licence
As the duties of this role require you to effectively travel to successfully undertake the full remit of the role, you must hold a current driving licence and have access to a vehicle.*

PVG Membership
