Thursday & Friday, 09:00-17:00
One Saturday in four, 09:00-13:00

Prestonpans Library works closely with local schools, nurseries and community groups to support children and families in the area. The library is busy with Bookbug sessions, class visits, play sessions, craft sessions and is working to provide more inclusive activities for all, as well as a Customer Services and Library function for the whole community.
The postholder will be fully involved in carrying out the daily duties of the library and customer service areas within the staff team. This will include the delivery of activities such as Bookbug, craft sessions, class visits and supporting the public with council related enquiries.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with the public and supporting a team to develop services.
To support and assist in the day-to-day delivery of front-line customer and library services.

Educated to Higher level, NC or SVQ Level 2 in English and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience.
A full current driving licence is desirable for this post.
