An opportunity has arisen for a Systems Team Leader to work within our Council Resources Division based at John Muir House, Haddington.

Our Systems Team is responsible for managing, supporting and developing a wide range of Council systems and works collaboratively with Council Services to develop and improve their business.

As well as being educated to a minimum HND level in Finance, Business Management, or IT, or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience, the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate experience of successfully leading and co-ordinating a service delivery team, experience of leading successful projects, excellent communication skills, initiative, creativity, analytical thinking and problem solving.

Job Details

To supervise the Council Resources Systems Team providing Council-wide systems development and business support to a wide range of customers.

Responsible for the development and maintenance of excellent working relationships with Council staff and partnership working with external suppliers and organisations.

Job Requirements

Relevant Qualifications
Educated to HND or SVQ4 level and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience.

Driving Licence
A full current driving licence is desirable for this post.
