Are you ready to play a key role in the day-to-day operational management of our Roads Contracting Unit?  This is an exciting opportunity to head up our team of Road-workers who deliver reactive maintenance and repairs to our roads and footway infrastructure and undertake minor capital works projects.  The team also deliver winter gritting services across East Renfrewshire.

Applications are invited from candidates who have significant relevant experience, and can evidence excellent leadership, skills and knowledge.     

Applications are welcomed from all those who are keen to support new ways of working, increased use of modern technology, new business processes while seeking opportunities for innovation and  improvement and delivering a high quality, customer focused service. 

Depending upon the needs of the service, staff in Hybrid roles will typically work from home for up to 40-60% of the time where the needs of the service can still be met.
