You are invited to apply for the post of Senior Alcohol Drug and Recovery Officer (ADRS) – (Peer Support/Service User Involvement/-/Retention in Treatment and Care) based within East Renfrewshire Alcohol Drug and Recovery Team which is an Integrated Service comprising Health and Social Work staff working together across two Teams – the ADRS Team and the ADRS Recovery Team. You should have experience of directly providing a range of treatment services to individuals affected by alcohol and drug use as well as facilitate the provision of other treatment services where appropriate.

As a Senior ADRS Officer you will have experience of providing recovery orientated systems of care (ROSC) within an integrated service. You can demonstrate experience of improving engagement of individuals with complex multiple needs who are less likely to engage with specialist ROSC services and are at most risk of developing acute illness and early death.

You will have knowledge of alcohol and drug policy, strategies and approaches as well as public protection in relation to adults and children. You will provide a Senior ADRS Officer role within the Alcohol Drug and Recovery Team with specifically focused on Peer Support/Service User Involvement//Retention in Treatment and link with other services within the Health and Social Care Partnership and appropriate wider partners.

It is essential that you have experience of direct service delivery for alcohol and drug users and are able to lead on developing Peer Support/Service User Involvement and Retention in Treatment and Care approaches within ROSC.
