Falkirk Council is seeking a Community Partnership Officer to assist the delivery of its Strategic Property Review (SPR). This is a Council priority project aimed at delivering savings and is also vital in delivering the aims of the Council of the Future project to transform the way the Council delivers services .
As part of progressing the SPR and reducing the number of buildings the Council operates, the project is exploring opportunities for Community Asset Transfer (CAT). A range of communication and initial engagement has been undertaken with community groups to maximise the level of interest in CAT or community interest in operating facilities important to them.
This post will assist the current team with progressing these interests. Given the priority given to this project and delivering Community Asset Transfers, the successful candidate will assist with progressing this work at pace. Work out with normal business hours is expected to attend community meetings and meet community needs.
This post is temporary until September 2025 to cover a temporary project.
