Responsibilities:

Are you dynamic and want to make a difference in how we deliver public services?

If so, this is a great opportunity to apply your skills and experience to help ensure all contracted maintenance works for properties are carried out in compliance with set targets and specifications.

The successful candidate will work with teams to support the Council’s ambitions in delivering service improvements and will regularly liaise with colleagues across a number of council departments.

You will also have a thorough knowledge of Electrical legislation, Health and Safety legislation, contract finance, estimating and contract management.

In addition, the post holder will have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.

You will be motivated and confident with the ability to multi-task whilst working to deadlines and maintaining a close attention to detail. We are looking for integrity, a can-do attitude, and someone with excellent communication skills who can work in partnership with other council colleagues.

A full UK driving licence is also required for this role.
