Forth Valley Disability Sport coordinator

Part-Time Temporary Post – Fixed until 31st March 2024 initially

(With the opportunity to be extended until March 2026)

Forth Valley Disability Sport wishes to appoint a Disability Sport Coordinator.

The Forth Valley Disability Sport Coordinators role aims to coordinate, develop and deliver a wide range of high quality, physical activity and sport programmes or initiatives which are responsive to the needs of children, young people and adults with a physical, learning or sensory disability in the Forth Valley (FV) area. The successful candidate will work closely with a large number of partners in their role. Key partners will include Scottish Disability Sport, Falkirk Council, Stirling Council/Active Stirling, and Clackmannanshire Council.

You will work 22.2 hours per week.

This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007.  Accordingly, the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment.
