Falkirk Council is seeking to recruit an experienced Regeneration Co-ordinator , who will be responsible for progressing significant regeneration work  and opportunities  to address  current social, economic and environmental challenges of the Falkirk area.

This work will demand the development of economic strategies, master planning and the delivery of complex place-based regeneration interventions and projects that are shaped by the needs and aspirations of local communities to bring improvements to our towns and village centres such as public realm upgrades, conservation work and environmental improvements. 

The role will support the Falkirk Bid and the delivery of the 5-year Business Plan for Falkirk town centre. 

The role will be responsible for seeking and securing significant external funding to support our ambitions for the area. This will require a considerable focus on cross-service collaboration, engagement and communication, financial planning, project and resource management, reporting and project evaluation to deliver a portfolio of externally funded compliant projects for the Council.

You will have excellent project management, budgetary and report writing skills. Your role will involve regular contact with senior internal staff, operational staff, elected members, and community bodies. 

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to carry out a Disclosure Scotland check.
