Thornton Gardens is a short breaks service situated within Bonnybridge. It provides 24-hour care to adults with learning disabilities and complex care. We have a well-established team who place those we support at the heart of everything we do.
You must have experience of providing professional care and support to adults with learning disabilities and complex care or varying needs. You must have good organisational skills, ideally experience at leading teams, communicate effectively with other professionals, families and residents, an ability to work on your own initiative and have proven decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
You will be experienced in the supervision and support of a team of professional support, kitchen and domestic staff and be able to manage the service in the absence of the manager.
This post requires an individual who can actively participate as an integral part of the Resource Centres management team in the development and delivery of the highest possible quality of care.
An SVQ Level 3 in Social Care is essential for the post; CSS, DipSW or equivalent is desirable. You will require to also complete Supervisory units of SVQ 4 or have an SVQ Assessors Award
