Falkirk Council are looking to recruit a Support for Learning Assistant for Larbert High School. You will provide support for teachers, early years professionals and children to enhance experiences and achievement for children. You will undertake a range of support activities with regard to general supervision, safety, care and well-being of the children, you will also support learning of children with additional support needs.
Good communication skills are essential and you should enjoy working as part of a team. In addition, if you have an understanding of and skills in nurture and supporting inclusion, this would also be highly desirable.
You will work 27.5 hours per week on a term time basis.
The post is temporary until June 2024 due to service requirement.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
