Please note the job description below is for a generic Technician role. However, we are specifically recruiting for an ICT/AV Technician and as such you will be required to support the school community in provision of all ICT/AV services. 

Key responsibilities are: -

• Manage ICT internal helpdesk
• Support & maintain ICT Hardware & Infrastructure throughout the school
• Install new hardware/software
• Staff & Pupil account administration & security
• Assembly/event technical support
• Annual PAT testing access arrangements
• Technician team tasks, as required
• Liaise with external engineers
• Maintain school ICT inventory
• Organise ICT/electrical equipment disposals
• Ensure customer service standards are met.

You should have experience in providing ICT support to a varied client base within a busy environment.  Preferably within an educational establishment.

You are required to hold a relevant qualification and have an excellent working knowledge of Windows operating systems (including Windows XP and Windows 7, 10), and hardware support.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
