Job Description
The Social Care Worker within Justice Services has a key role in the delivery of the Justice Statutory Social Work function relating to Unpaid Work Orders.
This involves completing risk assessments to identify the most appropriate work placement for that individual, identifying opportunities for “other activity” that contributes to the completion of the order and ensuring compliance with the conditions of the Court order.
The post involves regular liaison with placement providers, maintaining case records, completion of various reports for the purposes of Court, liaison with other agencies, as well as attendance at Court when required and attendance at any other meetings / reviews as required.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
