Job Description

Scotland’s largest planning authority seeks motivated and versatile graduate planners to join at this exciting time in the transformation of national planning, helping tackle the climate and nature crisis and contribute to high quality placemaking.

Based in a large multidisiplinary planning service, this role is for graduate planners who will rotate through placements in different areas of planning.

During this time they will receive mentoring and support to work towards their APC for Chartered Membership of the RTPI and gain invaluable insight from experienced planners within the department.

The Glasgow planning service offers exciting opportunities to work on a range of projects including the development of a new City Development Plan, spatial planning projects and award winning partnerships, significant planning applications across the city and specialist areas focusing on the rich built heritage of the city, open spaces and urban design.
