Job Description
Glasgow City Council, Early Learning and Childcare, is recruiting for the position of Depute Head of Nursery based within Dennistoun Early Years Centre.
Your main duties and responsibilities will include supporting the Head of Centre in overseeing the day to day management of the establishment whilst supporting the appropriate and effective delivery of the curriculum. In addition, you will contribute to the strategic planning, monitoring, evaluation and development of the Centre.
You will have extensive knowledge and understanding of current early years legislation and procedural compliance coupled with the ability to lead and manage a team in order to meet targets and objectives.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) is a requirement of this position.
This post is temporary for a period up to 1 year.
