Job Description

Applications are invited from motivated individuals preferably trained to ICCM or equivalent standards with the technical ability to be trained in cemetery operations.  You will undertake all duties assigned in the provision of a bereavement service including carrying out the burial service, carrying out routine associated maintenance and ancillary work as determined necessary within the cities 32 cemeteries.  You must be an excellent communicator with the ability to cope in difficult situations, be flexible and open to new ways of working and be willing to undertake training and familiarity as required in order to carry out duties.   A current driving licence and the ability to operate appropriate excavation plant and associated equipment to CITB trained industry standard is essential.  Previous knowledge/work experience in the bereavement industry is desirable.  A shift pattern is in operation including weekends and occasional public holiday working.
