Glasgow City Council is seeking to appoint an Instrumental Instructor of Brass, to work in various establishments throughout the city.

You must be a passionate and well qualified musician with a true commitment to teaching who will inspire the musical development of our children and young people.

Teaching duties:

To teach Brass to pupils of all ages, from beginner to Grade 8 standard and above, to prepare courses and SQA performance programmes, lead and tutor ensembles as required.  In addition to the range of teaching and other duties outlined in the job specification we are looking for individuals who enjoy working collegiately, and who have a firm commitment to improving the outcomes for Glasgow's young people.

Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.

Candidates who are offered an interview should attend 30 Minutes before alloted interview time, and be prepared to perform 1 piece of their choice on their first instrument, followed by formal interview.
