Job Description
The Project Officer (Place Based Investment Programme) will lead on the delivery and management of funding budgets for physical, social and economic capital regeneration projects. These funding streams contribute c. £12m annually to the Council and the city. The officer will work within the Housing and Place Based Investment team, reporting to the Group Manager, and work with a range of internal and external partners. The officer will also contribute to various area-based regeneration initiatives. The successful candidate will have experience of partnership working and project planning and budgeting.
It is essential to have knowledge of Glasgow’s physical, social and economic regeneration aims and objective and of Scottish Government’s Place Based Investment Programme. You should also have excellent communication skills and IT skills including Word, Excel and Powerpoint. You will have experience of partnership working and have the ability to influence others to achieve results.
