Job Description
Glasgow City Council is seeking to recruit 2 Support for Learning Worker's for placement within Lochend Community High School.
One position will be in the mainstream secondary school with the second position within the school's Enhanced Nurture Provision.
The Support for Learning Worker plays a key role in providing support and assistance to young people between the ages of 11 to 18 with additional support needs to access the curriculum.
The posts are for 27.5 hours term time, to be worked Monday-Friday, within the school working days.
The main duties and responsibilities include the provision of care and support to children whilst building positive working relationships.
This position also includes the provision of support with the supervision and administration of medication.
Please note successful candidates are required to pay for their PVG Scheme Membership/Scheme Checks and regulatory body membership.
