Works Manager (North West) (Streetscene) (Fixed Term)

Job Description

Reporting to the Assistant Group Manager you shall be based in one of the cities operational depots and will Manage the delivery of Services, duties will include monitoring/directing resources to ensure the effective delivery of front-line services, preparing/monitoring works programmes in relation to routine, cyclical and planned works and to ensure compliance with health & safety legislation.

Substantial experience in a land based operational environment, previous supervisory experience and a flexible approach to working hours are essential. You must also have basic IT skills, good communication/ influencing/decision making skills and a current driving licence and health and safety training.

The post involves working variable hours and a weekend working rota is in operation for which the appropriate non standard working payment will be made.

This post is temporary for a period up to 14 January 2027.
