Job Description
Young Person Support Worker at Westmuir High School provide educational, social and emotional support for young people with a range of needs related to their social, emotional, mental health and physical wellbeing.
Staff will work in conjunction with teachers and other multi-agency professionals within the school and in organised activities. Successful candidates will work in tandem with other professionals but will also facilitate activities and support for young people themselves.
As part of a wider multidisciplinary team, Young Person Support Worker will provide input and insight into young people and help to put in place strategies to meet the needs of young people within Westmuir High School.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
