Post Title: Community Works Operative 4 (LGV)
Location: Ardelve
Hours: 37 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £24,935 - £27,436 p.a

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose:

• Carry out road and winter maintenance duties as directed.

• Drive HGV vehicles including Snow Ploughs.

• Potential to be involved in other community works activities such as grounds maintenance, Burials, street sweeping and refuse collection.

Requirements

Possession of Driving Licence for LGV, Category C and C + E.

However, if an applicant has other attributes to offer the Council in relation to Roads Maintenance then training may be given to assist the applicant to gain LGV licence. (see additional information on page 5)
