Job Purpose:

  • To organise and manage the work of allocated Lead Technical Officer’s, Senior Architectural Technicians and Architectural Technicians to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective use of staff and resources in order that projects are completed to a high standard of design, on programme, within budget and to appropriate quality standards.
  • To carry out the complete range of Architectural duties allocated by the Design Consultancy Manager

Requirements

  • HNC in Building Technology or other approved qualification.
  • Membership of the British Institute of Architectural Technologists or an approved equivalent.
  • Significant experience in the design of capital projects and maintenance activities in the public sector.
  • Significant experience in contract administration using JCT, NEC and Scottish Minor Works Forms of Contract/
