Inverclyde Council is searching for a Director of Environment and Regeneration. We are seeking an exceptional individual with drive to make a difference to people lives and regenerate Inverclyde to ensure it is a place that people choose to live, visit and work. You will be an experienced leader with energy and passion that leads from the front, creating the right vision and culture to work in partnership to deliver real lasting change to the area. You will be determined to deliver on the Council’s Net Zero ambition.

 

You will require a sound understanding of environmental issues, planning and regeneration. You must be focused on people ensuring they receive high quality services.

You will be an accomplished and credible leader, naturally engaging and who is able to inspire and motivate staff.

 

With a demonstrable track record of success within regeneration, planning, or roads and environmental services. You will have a degree in a relevant disciplinary and a preferably a management qualification. You must have the ability to develop a strong people focussed culture which encourages and nourishes talent.
