Volunteer - Hearing Aid Delivery Driver

Job Description

Volunteers collect and deliver faulty hearing aids from/to clients who are housebound and whose hearing aids require repair by Audiology at Midlothian Community Hospital. Volunteers collect hearing aids from a client’s home, within their allocated area of Midlothian, and deliver to Midlothian Community Hospital, returning to the client the following day. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful difference to individuals living in Midlothian.

Requirements

Volunteers use their own vehicles, and are able to claim travel expenses. This role takes place for around 2 hours per week. A minimum commitment of 6 months is requested after training and induction is complete.
