We are looking for an exceptional individual to become our Executive Director (Communities & Housing) who can demonstrate the breadth of capacity, skills and vision to work with and support our Chief Executive to deliver the Council’s ambitions for North Ayrshire.
As a Chief Officer of the Council, the successful candidate will have a strategic leadership role in delivering our new Council Plan and in particular leading our Communities & local Democracy priority, facilitating our transformational change programme, and delivering high quality, value for money services in a challenging financial climate.
You will demonstrate extensive experience at a senior management level and have the ability to create inspiring and innovative solutions. Full information can be found in the Role Profile.
As a strategic and inspirational leader, you will deliver a clear sense of purpose and direction and will secure the confidence of Elected Members, the Council and your Teams.
You will be able to demonstrate experience in the implementation of change, excellent people management skills, effective partnership working, integrity and sound ethical judgement.
Dates to note are:
- Psychometric Testing between 11 & 17 January 2024.
- Assessment Centre will be held on 18 January 2024 (In Person, full day).
- Interviews will take place on 8 February 2024 (In Person)
