This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team within Children and Families . The post holder will be a Team Manager within the Garnock Valley area and lead a group of social work staff who work in collaboration with families to support the whole families wellbeing, with a focus on supporting children to remain safely within their families where at all possible. The post holder will have responsibility for overseeing care plans of children including those who are care experienced and where child protection plans are required. As such regular liaison with multiagency partners and third sector partners is essential. The post holder will support the team through regular supervision ,case file analysis, practice reflective sessions, team meetings and practice development sessions. This is an exciting time to join the team as the implementation is ongoing of both Safe and Together and Signs of Safety providing an opportunity for a creative individual to be involved in supporting the practice implementation of these approaches. The post holder will get regular supervision to support their own practice development and be part of a wider group of Children and Families Team Managers.
