Working within the Community Learning & Development team you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of CLD services as part of the Community Learning and Development Service, with a focus on community-based Gaelic services.

Your role will be to support the delivery of Gaelic medium after school junior youth group - Cluba Sradagan, in line with the North Lanarkshire Gaelic language plan, and CLD funding agreement.

Previous experience of working with children and young people is desirable (this can be in a voluntary capacity) although training can be given.

Fluency in the Scottish Gaelic language is essential.

An enthusiastic and motivated individual, you will have good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team to deliver age-appropriate activities and games.

This post will be in the Cumbernauld area and will run one day a week after school.

A relevant qualification of SCQF level 4 and above is essential.

You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to starting this post.

2 hours per week (Term Time) (Thursday 4pm to 6pm)
