As we embrace changes for the future of our council to achieve a shared ambition for inclusive growth and prosperity for all – where North Lanarkshire is the place Live, Learn, Work, Invest and Visit, a new and exciting opportunity to join our Recruitment Team as the Re-deployment Coordinator has been created.

You will have the opportunity to coordinate and manage the redeployment process for the council. This will involve liaising with employees, managers and trade union representatives ensuring the process is managed in accordance with the Workforce Change Policy.

You will review and continually improve the re-deployment process, ensuring a streamlined procedure that allows posts to be filled quickly and redeployees to find a positive destination following the workforce change outcome.

Educated to SVQ Level 3, HNC or equivalent and with an extended level of relevant experience of working within an HR environment, you will have excellent telephone and written communication skills and the ability to provide information clearly and concisely. With good organisational skills you will have the ability to prioritise and meet agreed deadlines while demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy. You will be flexible and adaptable with the ability to use your initiative appropriately. You will be numerate and IT literate with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office. You will be able to relate to all members of staff and maintain a high degree of confidentiality pertaining to all aspects of work.

Work Pattern: 35 Hours per week, Monday to Thursday: 08:45 to 16:45, Friday 08:45 to 16:15
