Employed on our hybrid working model, being based at home with attendance at office base as required, you will be joining a Service which strives for excellence in service delivery and works well with stakeholders.

As a Contract Support Officer, you will join our Contract Strategy team to provide a variety of duties to support the Investment, New Supply, Growth, City Deal and Repairs and Maintenance teams which deliver services to the Council’s 37,000 current properties and the new build housing programme. You will work within a multi-disciplinary environment and be responsible for providing support through the procurement process including producing Contract Strategies, SPD’s, contract monitoring, financial monitoring and process development, assisting the Quantity Surveyors as required.

These posts represent an exciting and challenging opportunity for highly motivated individuals with a professional manner and excellent communication skills, you should be able to work to deadlines with a sound knowledge of current procurement regulations.

Experience gained in construction environment is essential.

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
