Learning and Development Advisor (Health and Social Care)

2 posts (35 hours)

NLC10 - £36,073 - £41,592

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two enthusiastic Health and Social Care practitioners to join the Talent and Organisational Development Team as a Learning and Development Advisor

These posts will play a key role in supporting the development and delivery of a wide range of learning and development activities within adult Health and Social Care, Children and Families and Justice. There will be a focus on qualifications for workforce registration as well as supporting all learning and development activities in a Health and Social Care setting. One post will support the Homecare service and the other post will support all other areas of Health and Social Care including the Social Work Service.

For both posts, you must have a qualification and experience within Health and Social Care. For the post supporting Social Work, you will ideally be a registered Social Worker.

For both roles you will work a hybrid model of home-based work and office based work within the Civic Complex, Motherwell.

You should be qualified to degree level or equivalent and possess excellent communication and facilitation skills alongside experience of supporting learners on an individual and group basis. Ideally you should have a certificate in Learning & Development or an Assessor’s qualification or be prepared to work towards achieving one.
