An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Talent and Organisational Development Team as an Organisational Development (OD) Partner.

We’re seeking an individual with significant experience of advising and supporting all levels of management and staff on all disciplines relating to Organisational Development including effectively supporting service transformation. You’ll have a creative mindset and exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. We’re looking for someone who can confidently support and encourage managers to develop innovative approaches and turn these into pragmatic solutions as part of their service transformation and workforce development strategies.

This role will regularly liaise with service areas to understand the business dynamics at a local level to provide OD guidance and solutions to a range of projects including supporting strategic workforce planning and development, digital transformation, and bringing a greater focus to talent development, career pathways and succession planning. All of this key to ensuring that the Council has a workforce ready to deliver our ambitious operating model that puts local people and communities at the heart of our service delivery arrangements.

With a degree level or equivalent qualification and substantial experience in an organisation development or business environment. You should have excellent communication and facilitation skills, be able to apply the principles of design thinking, demonstrable project management skills, and ability to build trust and credibility with stakeholders.
