We are currently seeking a positive, enthusiastic, and confident individual as a Risk and Insurance Administrator in our Financial Solutions Team. Applications are welcome from those looking for a new challenge.
NLC operates a hybrid working model with time split between an office base in the Civic Centre, Motherwell, and home working.
You will be educated to SVQ3/HNC/Apprenticeship level or equivalent, experience in an insurance environment and claim handling is desirable. A positive attitude, excellent communication and negotiating skills are attributes considered essential for this post.
You will be required to manage a caseload of Public and Employer’s liability claims, liaising with all appropriate parties, conducting locus inspections, and negotiating towards settlement on behalf of the Council.
Local or public authority insurance experience, an awareness of buildings and property insurance and a current driving licence would be desirable.

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
