We are recruiting a manager for our Cumbernauld team who has the right skills, attitude and experience to lead the team, focused on developing continued service improvements and standards.

As the manager of the team, your role is pivotal to ensure all appropriate supports are in place for both individuals and their families whose lives are affected by substance misuse. You will provide day to day operational management and leadership, ensuring effective use of targeted resources through joint working with partner agencies including the Alcohol and Drug Partnership and Harm Reduction Service.

Many opportunities and challenges will arise as a result of the changing context of health and social work services therefore if you feel that you have the experience, skills and commitment that meet or exceed the expectations of this key post then please reflect this in your application.

You will have a general degree or equivalent qualification for example a CQSW/DipSW, degree in nursing, occupational therapy or equivalent together with significant relevant experience working with vulnerable service users and experience of working closely with partner agencies is essential.

A post qualifying certificate e.g. child protection; mental health or addictions and experience of working with people affected by substance misuse are desirable.

You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.

This post is temporary until April 2026.

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
