10 hours per week (Mondays and Wednesdays - 5 hours each day)
Temporary maternity cover for a period of up to one year
£25,566 - £26,414 pro rata (including shift allowance and Distant Islands Allowance)
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic person to undertake Cook duties at Kalisgarth Care Centre. Kalisgarth provides extra care housing support and a day centre service in Westray. You will prepare a choice of nutritional meals to a consistently high standard whilst ensuring the highest standards of food hygiene.
Applicants must have relevant experience in a similar post and should hold an Intermediate Food Hygiene certificate or Elementary Food Hygiene with the requirement to achieve Intermediate Food Hygiene. An SVQ 2 or equivalent in Hospitality and Catering is also desirable.
The post is subject to membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme in respect of regulated work with adults.
