The Communities Service are looking to recruit a Full Time Community Learning and Development Worker to help develop, design and manage the delivery of locality based CLD activity in the Kinross-shire, Almond & Earn ward areas of Perth & Kinross. This will include adult learning programmes, facilitating community capacity building and the development of volunteers. You will also work cohesively with partners and stakeholders to deliver Stronger Communities networks, support local partnerships and the Local Area Committee. You will also make a significant contribution to place based working and the community empowerment agenda. This post will be primarily based across Kinross-shire, Almond & Earn but may require the person to work across Perth and Kinross responding to priorities, in order to meet the outcomes of the Communities Service Team.

Requirements

You will hold a degree in Community Learning & Development and ideally be a member of the CLD Standards Council. You will demonstrate a commitment to learning, improvement and innovation by proactively seeking out opportunities for personal development. You will demonstrate a flexible approach to change; challenge the status quo to bring about change and embrace new ways of working. The Individual

You must have a valid UK driving licence as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross.
