A great opportunity has arisen within the Kinnoull Community Day Opportunities team for a Driver/Handyperson.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take the lead with coordinating and facilitating transport for service users to and from our community based service. They will have the opportunity to be the responsible person for basic vehicle safety checks, health and safety duties, key holder responsibilities and building maintenance including fire checks.
Hours of work are split shifts Monday to Friday 7.45 am - 10.00am and 3pm - 5.00pm. This is the current work pattern, but we require a flexible approach at times which would always be discussed and agreed in advance if any changes were required.
The Individual
We are looking for a kind and friendly individual to join our fun and hardworking team at Kinnoull Community Day Opportunities. Alongside the tasks noted above, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to get to know members of the Kinnoull team and the individuals who attend the service.
Experience of working with people with learning disabilities, carers, members of the public would be advantageous but is not essential.
You must have a valid UK driving licence as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross. A D1 entitlement and the willingness to complete MIDAS training is required for this role.
