Job Description

Head Teacher (PKC11203)
£61,839
Logiealmond Primary School

We are looking for our next Head Teacher for this unique setting.

Do you have what it takes to lead this school community on the next stage of their journey?

At Logiealmond Primary School, we currently have 12 children who work together in a multi composite class.

Our playground, which overlooks beautiful Perthshire countryside, provides opportunity for play, physical activity and outdoor learning whereas our close proximity to Perth allows the children to participate in sporting, learning and cultural experiences with other schools and organisations.

At Logiealmond, we recognise that every child is a unique individual with a range of abilities and needs. We strive to provide a safe and happy environment where children develop as caring, motivated citizens. Our aim is to provide them with the skills and experiences which will equip them for life today and in the future. Staff, parents and children work together to make Logiealmond a happy place to work and learn.

The Head Teachers Education and Training (Scotland) Regulations 2019 require candidates who are appointed to their first permanent Head Teacher post from 1 August 2020 to have attained the Standard for Headship. If you have not gained this qualification, appointment can only be made on a fixed term basis for maximum period of 30 months.
