Longforgan Primary School
As a Play Assistant, you will be based in our custom-built nursery, set within Longforgan Primary School. In this role you will work closely with a range of colleagues including Early Childhood Practitioners, Nursery Support Teacher, Early Years Family Learning Practitioner as well as teachers and support staff throughout the whole school. Your role will be varied and you will support children aged 3-6 years in their social and emotional development, facilitate play and learning activities both indoors and outdoors, and you will help prepare and serve snack and lunch daily.
The successful applicant will be a conscientious, committed, caring individual with excellent communication skills. You will be confident when engaging with colleagues, families and children, and always conduct yourself in a friendly, yet professional, manner.
You will be flexible and able to respond calmly to changes and challenges as they arise. You will add value to our team by demonstrating a commitment to improving outcomes for all our learners, and by participating in professional development opportunities to support your own learning and that of your colleagues.
