Pitlochry High School is a thriving, successful All Through School for pupils aged 3-16, living in Pitlochry and the surrounding rural areas of Highland Perthshire. You will have responsibility as Head of House: for co-ordinating the team of tutors within the house; leading and managing the role of the tutor system across secondary, as part of personal support; chairing the Health and Wellbeing Whole School Working Group and leading House Assemblies.

You will support the development of the curriculum through the All Through School, liaising with colleagues in nursery, primary and secondary as appropriate, as well as working collegiately with our Active schools Co-ordinator and colleagues within PKC.

The Individual

The role is on a Fixed Term basis, starting in August 2024. Within this post you will support the strategic direction in whole school leadership and management.

You will have a relevant teaching qualification in Physical Education.

You will lead and manage a team of teaching staff within the Faculty (Physical Education (inc. Primary) and Home Economics).
